Echo followed Yael. "It wasn't me. I heard it coming into the cave. Someone else was whimpering. Though, no, I don't like water very much. I prefer to keep my paws dry" he said. He saw meerkats and an antelope and looked rather confused. He shrugged it off before he looked back at Nyasi. / Tara shrugged. "I don't know what they do, but I saw it sticking out of a bird I found. I don't know why it was like that, or what the weird sticks do" she said. / Amara nodded. "Alright." She walked into the cave and called out. "After we eat, there will need to be a meeting" she said loud enough for everyone to hear. She looked over and saw Chaos with Tara before she looked around the rest of the pride. |

Khaleesi stalked away from her dominant. She would cool off somewhere else. She peeked her head out of the cave, wondering if the scent would attract any hyenas. After the hyena wars, she felt nervous about doing anything that might get their attention. She went back inside and found a place ot lie down and watch the food that was brought in. Chaos nodded sort of confused by the description. "You hungry and ready to eat?" he asked, when he heard the announcement. He was glad that Ivy had gone to give Tara's mother a decent burial. He hoped she would eat. Not only was he hungry, but he thought it would help her. |

Siku / Siku nodded at Amara, then looked at the prey before him. "So, who will be eating first?", he asked, addressing the dominant privately. He doesn't want to start any fights. |

Amara looked at Siku. "The four dominants, then lions, then lionesses. Aslan caught meerkats for the cubs so they wouldn't have to wait" she said as she looked at Khaleesi. She hoped the older female was alright. Flicking her ear as a small bug flew by she watched the pride. / Tara looked down. "I don't know if I can eat" she said. She looked over and saw one of the meerkats and tilted her head. It looked like it would be enough for her to eat, and if she didn't finish, one of the others could always do so. |

Ivy / Ivy saw Nyasi hesitate, as he uncertainly walked towards the meerkats. She nodded encouragingly at him, and to her satisfaction her cub picked up on of the meerkats and nibbled at it. It was his first time tasting the creature! / Siku / "Hm, good enough", Siku agreed, and nodded at Aria if she is coming. He always felt weird to eat first (or at least one of the first as now), but it was better with Aria by his side. |

Shani lay down near the pride dominants and sighed. She would probably have to catch something later, when she left the pride. Looked around for Aslan. She wanted so badly to see him, but the same time she was ashamed to. Shani could only imagine the look on his face when he heard what had happened. |

Ajihad tore off enough food to keep him satisfied, and walked off with it so others could get their share. He didn't want to make them wait. He was amused watching the cubs dash up to retrieve a meercat. Yael's chest was puffed out as he walked away with his meal. He beckoned Amara over. He had grabbed enough for both of them. Chaos smiled at her, "If you can't finish it off, we'll find someone who can or you can save it for later." He was excited about eating, and he let his tail move around. This was the most talking that he had seen Tara do in a while. He was slightly flattered that she had talked to him. He reminded himself not to let it go to his head. |

Amara grabbed enough for herself before calling to the rest of the cubs. "There is meerkat that Aslan caught for the cubs" she said motioning to the pile. She didn't know Shani had helped with a couple since she only saw Aslan bring them back. The red maned male was laying down, looking rather tired. Amara started eating as she watched the pride. / Luna smiled and ran over to grab a meerkat. The one she grabbed was a little larger than her, but she didn't give up on grabbing it. She looked over and saw Amber and Echo walking over to get one each as well. / Tara nodded to Chaos before she slowly went to grab the meerkat for her. She backed up to the back of the cave and slowly started eating. |
