Deimos | 6 | Male | Nomad | M: (indirectly) Both Prides Deep in the savannah, there uttered roars. The bleating of prey never ceased. Neither did the snarling that crept deep into the night. A broad figure stood erect on a grassy knoll. Stalks of dried, golden grass brushed against his paws as a breeze brought forth scents. Aromas of two prides. And there were cubs. Where there was cubs, there were lionesses. Yet, as he awaited the eruption of a quarrel, nothing came of it. Just silence. Peculiar. Deimos carefully remained downwind. At the distance he was from them, they could not see him. He knew one thing. One pride left it's territory absent of the beasts. All too well, he knew there would be scraps and water there. Deimos stood at a scent marker of Aijhad's territory, eyeing the shrubbery and dusty expanse before him. It was a risk. His scent would be here. He whiffed the air, tail tip flicking anticipatingly. The Flehmen response triggered at the scent markings whilst loping along the border. Discreetly, he headed for a pond. Edited at April 2, 2020 01:23 AM by Cardinal

Siku/ Siku Pride, dominant male / Siku chuckled softly at the cubs innocent playing. His heart warmed as a likely future for everybody started to form. "I see peace will be on our side", he muttered to Aria, smiling widely. He glanced at Ukuta, and saw her softly smiling at the cub's play. / Ivy/ Ajihad Pride, lioness / Ivy was mystified by how all the things have went. From being all tense for an attack, all of them were now spectating two cubs playing! Ivy felt somehow embarrassed. 'Hey, at least no fighting!', she reminded herself in thought, looking down at her son Nyasi. She inhaled in sharply, as she saw an emotion on her cub's face that she never have seen before. Nyasi was slightly frowning, and his claws were slightly dug into the soil, and his tail twitched almost unnoticeably, but Ivy recognised that twitch as an act of annoyance. He then shot a quick glare at Ajihad, and in his eyes, Ivy saw so much..... hate? Suddenly Nyasi turned towards her, and all the emotions disappeared. Instead, there was relief and happiness in his face now. Ivy smiled back feebly. Had she just made up all that? / Jasiri/ Ajihad Pride, lion / Jasiri relaxed a lot as he saw the cubs playing, and even sat down. So all is not going to go downhill. Instead, all looks good! He smiled as Luna chased the other cub (Yael, he thinks) behind the dominant lioness of Siku pride.

Chaos looked around and everyone had relaxed once the cubs began to play. It looked like they would be able to combine without incident. He supposed there would sort of be four dominants. This should be interesting. He kept an eye on Yael. He was naturally a little bigger, because he was a lion, and he didn't want him harming his grandcub whether on purpose or on accident.

Amara nodded before she spoke again. "Now we must discuss territory and camps. With the prides merging we will only become larger, and I'm sure more cubs will be born. We need enough room to hunt and feed them all without woeey of leaving the territory."

Shani woke up with break of dawn. Lazily, she stretched and padded down to the watering hole. She crouched and delicately began to lap the water. Her ears twitched back and forth, alert for anything out of the ordinary. Other tan a few crocodiles at the other end of the watering hole, there was nothing to be concerned about. When Shani had slaked her thirst she shook her head sending droplets of water in every direction. It was a great day to be alive.

Siku/ Siku Pride, dominant pride / Siku nodded. "We could just merge our two territories together and place our camp in the no-lion's land. Here, there is plenty of space, and if we need to make our territory bigger, then we shall combine and conquer other land", he suggested.

Amara nodded. "I might know a place where the camp could be. When Ajihad and I had our own pride, there was a nice cave that was our camp. We could dig out more areas in it to make it larger, and to give lions their own space. There is also a stream that ran in it that helped when someone couldnt leave the camp to get water." She wondered if Siku would agree to it as she saw Aria look like she was thinking about it.

Siku/ Siku Pride, dominant / "That place sounds good", Siku commented, "And in case of danger, we would be able to hide our cubs and juveniles there". He looked around briefly. "And anyway, some lions prefer to sleep outside", he commented. He glanced at Aria, wondering what she was thinking about.

Amara gave a small smile. "There is plenty of places outside to sleep, and when it rains there is plenty of room" she said. She looked at Aria who glanced at Siku. "It is worth looking into. If we combine all three territories we will have plenty of room for the pride to grow for a while before we would be forced to expand more. Allow the pride to grow into the territory before we have to expand for being too large" Aria said.

Shani set out towards a cave she had visited previously in her wanderings. There was a small stream there and it would be a great place to take an afternoon nap and get out of the scorching hot sun. As she trotted across the savanna she passed a herd of impala. They spooked and took off leaping and bounding, kicking up a cloud of dust in their wake. Shani coughed and choked on their dust. The sooner she got to the cave the better.
