Zeke woke up and immidiately sprung to his paws. He streched before running around like a maniac. He was bored and had so much energy to spare. He sprung around the camp, getting bored and wanting to go out and catch some food or at least chase something around.

He sprung through the bushes and was surpised when there was another dog there. He jumped back, eyes wide in surprise. His tail started wagging as his tongue rolled out of his mouth.

"Hey! You're new! Hello! You seem cool!" He said hyper fast, jumping around.

Night Hawk startled when he heard, "Hey! You're new! Hello! You seem cool!" He looked over before flattening his ears, growling. Are they all like this? Weird. He thought backing up. The dog's tail was wagging and he was jumping around as if excited. Night narrowed his eyes before stalking into the forest.

Night Hawk turned to growl at the dog that was still following him. "I don't know who you are but I like my silence. What I don't like is group dogs following me." He narrowed his eyes, why hadn't he killed the dog yet. Because he's a dog. His mind told him and he shook his head, walking into the forest. "Go back to your group, pack dog."

Night couldn't believe this dog. He actually believed he was going to teach him to hunt. "No I'm not going to teach you to hunt, ask one of your packmates dog." He growled before narrowing his eyes, "And why the heck do you think I would go as backup for you? I ain't no pack dog." With this, he trotted into the forest, threading through the trees until he reached a stream. He let out a grumble before lapping at the water.

(Night Hawk doesn't like this attention xD)

Zeke stopped, wondering why the other dog was so grumpy. He galloped after him a few moment later, stopping next to him at the stream.

"Wow! You even led me to some water? Man you're awesome, wanna join our pack? Want to become exploring partners? It'd be fun! I'm bored anyway. Wait hold that thought I'm thirsty." Zeke told the other dog, following his lead and lapping up the water. He was super thirsty after talking a lot and was happy to be refreshed by the water.

He lifted his head back up and looked around in confusion. There was a slight scent of Tony, his other packmate. One of the higher up members of the pack. He was still bad with ranking and memorizing that.

"Hey! Another one of my packmates is nearby, want to go say hi? She's nice! Yaya come on let's go!" Zeke said, springing up and then hoping away, then back and away again, tail wagging very very fast.

Night Hawk glared at the dog before snarling, "I will not join the pack. I'm a loner and will stay a loner thank you very much. And no, I'm not saying hi. The most I would do is make sure she says bye." He turned before plunging into the water, swimming strongly to the other side where he shook off. "Follow me and I will stop being nice." He barked at the male before stalking into the forest, hoping to be able to catch something.

Zeke turned his head, ear flopping to the side. Zeke didn't follow him, he thought he would go catch something then go after the other male. Zeke stalked off, noticing some movement and crouching on the ground. He pounced on a rabbit, managing to hold onto it long enough that it died in his jaws. He trotted back to where he had last seen the other male. He looked at the water and jumped in, prey still in his jaws.

He barely managed to make it to the other side, smaller legs having to work much harder. He stood on the bank for a moment, catching his breath before he sprung up and started trying to sniff out the other dog. He wanted to impress him and he wanted a new buddy to talk to. He now smelled another female dog, that wasn't from his pack. But he ignored that and just tried his best to find the other dog.

Night sighed, finally free of the talkative dog. Ahead was the meadow. Dropping into a crouch, he creeped forward before he spotted what he wanted. A small elderly doe was laying down to one side. Stalking forward, he kept his belly close to the ground as he went through the tall grass. He crept downwind of the doe before reaching the long strip of open meadow. No long grass to cover him.

Stalking even lower to the ground, he waited until the deer's head went down before stalking forward quickly and quietly. A bellow behind him told him that a deer had spotted him. The doe's head came up as she staggered to her feet. Night lunged forward, his jaws breaking one of her legs and making her collapse. Leaping over the flailing hooves, he dug his fangs into her throat holding it until she went still. The rest of the deer had fled to the forest on the other side of the meadow. Away from my territory, but they will be back. He thought before pulling the deer into the bushes. Once safely in the bushes, he ripped open the belly to get something to eat.
