Nic | Mau | M: Berry (Ind.), Buttermilk (Dir.) Nic grew bored of watching the bunny when a new smell drifted to her on the breeze. Some sort of reptile. Large, if Nic interpreted the smell correctly. Curiosity won over wariness, (curiosity killed the cat is very true when it comes to Nic.) and Nic followed the smell. The smell started over by the edge of the forest, by the old junkyard, and led off into the forest. The smell led into the trees, and tracking became harder, but Nic managed. She was closer to the smell of dogs than she would have liked, but fortunately, the trail had ended. Up above Nic was a large yellow-white snake. Nic remembered hearing about such a snake back in the alleys, but she couldn't remember its name at the moment. Looking up, Nic spoke as loud as she dared. Loud enough for the snake to hear her, but quiet enough that hopefully, the dogs won't. "Hello, Snake. What are you doing up in that tree?"

Cobalt | Male | 2 1/2 | Pitbull| Cobalt quickly turned around and nearly stepped on Berry when he heard her yelling. He looked down at Berry as Rosalie began speaking. After Rosalie spoke he decided to chime in,"Rosalie ain't noa monst-" Cobalt abruptly stopped talking when he smelled something. At first he couldn't quite tell what it was as it was faint, but he soon realized it was snake.. and cat?" Cobalts tail flicked as he glanced at Fryre. "There's-a snake and-a cat aroun..."

Buttermilk -- Burmese python (albino) -- Male -- M: Nic (dir), Cobalt, Berry and Fyre (ind) Buttermilk glanced down at the cat, forked tongue flickering warily. "Hello Cat." He said absently, tilting his head to the side so that one pale pink eye was focused on Nic. His voice was also low, but it was more to avoid disturbing the rabbit he had smelled on the breeze. He hesitated as the scent of wolf as well as dog reached him. He knew his limits - he wouldn't battle a wolf over a rabbit. He slid silently down the tree's low-hanging branches to the leaf-strewn forest floor, a little ways from Nic. "I am searching for a rabbit. Have you seen one?" He asked, his tone a practiced casual, light one despite his alert, semi-tense body language. He raised his head from the ground a bit, assessing the situation. Hiding in the tall grass would be the huge, white and yellow snake's best bet at staying out of sight of both prey and predator. Edited at April 19, 2021 01:32 PM by Vaporeon

Berry / Female / 2 / Mini Lop Berry flicked her head around, watching anxiously as more muttering appeared, and although it was loud enough to clearly hear, she wasn't paying a lick of attention. She watched as Fyre, Cobalt and seemingly Rosalie all sniffed the air, making the same comments. So, Berry tilted her head to the sky, and to her suprise smelled wolf, dog, fox, snake and cat all in one wave of scent. The smell stung her nose and she wrinkled it up. Cobalt was about to say something, but was oddly cut off. Berry decided for now she would decide to trust the fox-looking thing. Cautiously and curiosly, she waddled over to Rosalie, she decided to before going towards the scents. "I'm sorry for calling you a monster," she said softly, "I was just startled, I hope I didn't offend you. Really, really sorry. I would like to maybe be friends too, if you want," Edited at April 19, 2021 05:59 PM by Kittenz

Nic | Mau | M: Buttermilk (dir.), everyone else (ind.) Nic trotted over to the snake. Up close, it was much larger than Nic had thought. He asked about a bunny. He must have scented it too. "Yeah, I saw it. Went running through the forest screaming bloody murder. Went towards the dogs. It's either dead or long gone by now. (Because having friends is totally unacceptable)" The snake seemed to be thinking, and Nic let him do so in peace. Deciding that the snake wasn't a threat, Nic sat down, grooming first her paw, and then rubbing said paw over her ears.
