"Lyra you stay in the brush," Morpheus said as he gave the signal for to wolves to flank it. "Lunar on me." He crept forward and gave a signal for the rest to spread out. There was no wind so it allowed the group to surround the animal.

Morpheus shot a questioning look at his son but said nothing. He then shifted himself and bit down on the elk's jugular. Blood burst into Morpheus's mouth as his canines punctured the creature's main vein. The elk stopped it's struggle and went limp.

Morpheus dropped the neck and licked the blood off his maw. the sweet iron taste made him hungry and he was glad they managed to catch it. He looked to the bushes and signaled for Lyra to come out. He then turned to Lunar. "Your going to have to make your first kill in front of the pack sooner or later." He told his son walking away. Lyra bonded over to her father. "That was so cool!" She said excitedly.

Lunar nodded. He then tensed up, looking over. He noticed a cow with her calf, watching. He tilted his head at them. "Dad, what do we do if they charge?" he asked, his tail raising.
