weeee- just gonna reuse this thread because i'm in the same pickle again. this time i've gotta tell someone i don't really think they'd fit the roleplay well enough. :')
is it bad to say someone might not fit the roleplay well/the roleplay isn't for them? i feel so bad for saying it, since they might see it as they're not "good enough" even though i'm not trying to say that. ;-; |

uh, hello there! just a tiny vent.
i feel like a complete sack of shit for declining characters in my forum roleplay. like. i just feel so bad for it even though i know i'm not in the wrong for it. :')
i think i'm just worried about driving people away from it if they see that i've declined characters? ahfsdj |

As someone who has done this quite a few times, it should be obvious as to why you had to decline ^^ That's why rules exist and they shouldn't be broken, otherwise the form would get declined. I get why you would feel like a shit person though, but then it just also looks like that accepting a form that doesn't meet the requirements is like saying you don't even follow your own rules, ya know? |

You should never have to worry about coming off as 'too strict' or 'rude', it's just common sense. Rules are rules, and they are there to be followed, not broken. ^^ |
