Adiar, raising an eyebrow and scoffing: “What the fuck are those ugly things? Gross.”

Nico, smile falling: “But… but I made them for you and Riv…?”

Adiar, smirking, grabbing a bracelet and snapping it in half, letting the beads fall as Nico starts to tear up: “You really think we'd like such a weak excuse for a gift?”

Nico, trying not to cry: “I'm sorry, I-"

Adiar, dropping the rest of the bracelet and turning away: “Pathetic.”

(DQ. Probably about how Akira will act toward the end of the Andi arc, taking control to be efficient… after trying to murder Andi and all that, lol. Side note, I went with the infirmary in this scenario because it's probably what Akira's more likely to suggest in the moment)

Akira, under their breath, seeing Nico panicking and holding Garvin’s head: “Shit…”

Akira, rushing to Nico and Garvin and kneeling down to assess the situation quickly (probably using their power to take Garvin's stats) before taking control: "I'll carry him. Aries, get Briar. Nico, call Revan, make sure we've got two spots in the infirmary ready the second we get there. Ingall, get the dog. The rest of you, make damn sure we have a good path out of here without any trouble."

Nico, trying to suggest Akira get someone else to help carry Garvin through tears, also almost certainly the first time she doesn't use a nickname: "Akira, I don't think you can-"

Akira, actually snapping back: "I'll figure it out. I've got him. Call Revan. Now."

?, and the wording would definitely change based on who was asking: "You're very quiet for someone with so many good thoughts, can I ask why?"

Ingall, shrugging slightly and looking down: "People get scared when I talk, they think I'll make them do things they don't want to... It's not true. I never wanted to hurt anyone, but... I guess, there's no point in talking if no one really wants to listen."

(PQ, when Kareem and Evin first told Letif he couldn’t live with them anymore)

Letif, angry, scared, and obviously upset: “W-what, so you’re just gonna let me go like everyone else then? Leave me behind?”

Kareem, calmly: “We’re not leaving ya, Tuft. I know it’s hard, be we ain’t leaving ya behind, I promise-”

Letif, snapping, angry tears starting to fall: “Don’t you dare promise me that! Not when you know damn well it’s not a promise you can keep!”

(DQ. Not sure about what the exact situation would be, but I could definitely see this happening)

???, watching Nico worriedly: “I hate to see you like this. I’m so, so sorry.”

Nico, smiling through tears: “I’m alright! I’ve been through worse anyway!”

Letif, sighing and leaning back on the palms of his hands: “I think I stopped believing in God at around age nine, when I really processed what was happening, you know? But, the funny part is, I didn’t stop listening to him until thirteen.”

Letif, looking away: “... And sometimes I catch still myself praying to him to this day, as if he wasn’t the one who caused this whole shit-show in the first place. Ironic, isn’t it?”

Kostas, reaching up in confusion to touch his face as tears roll down his cheeks: “That's… odd. I wasn't aware I was capable of crying, I thought for sure that if I was, I would have mourned Kyrie properly…”

Karma, staring at the patch with wide eyes before looking up at Garvin in confusion: “I- I don't… Why? What did I do to make you think I deserve something so… human…? Why… why do you care?!”

Sol, grinning as they watch Ingall: “You like his, don't you?”

Ingall, blinking in surprise and looking over: “I- w-what? Who? What do you mean?”

Sol, snickering: “Garvin! You were staring at him, silly! You stare at him a lot.”

Ingall, face flushing: “I- well, it doesn't matter even if I do, I- I think he likes someone else-”

Sol, shrugging: “So? You can like more than one person at a time! You're funny, you know?”

Ingall, looking down: “Maybe… but what do I even have to offer? I don't know why anyone would like me anyway…”

Sol, tilting his head and giggling: “I like you! You're a good friend! A good person! And if you help me bake some cookies you can give some to Garvin, he likes food, right?”

(DQ, back to angst. When the group is leaving… Did I mention how hard it is for Gall to deal with others leaving?)

Those quotes are all so great, very excited-

Here is one of my other surprises now!

Song; rats in my walls by ratbag.
Characters; Garvin and Revan, mostly. Akira, Nico, and Ingall are mentioned.
Context; This takes place a while after the hair dyeing prompt I wrote. Garvin’s still kind of going through it, when I said he went back hundreds of steps, I meant it. Revan for the most part, had been keeping to his usual ‘avoid Garvin so no arguments start’ tactic. Until this. Which, uh, surprise! It’s actually really good progress and neither of them avoid the other as much on bad days after it.
*~*~*~*
*We start out with Revan in the bedroom working one night. It’s late. Very late. Late to the point that it could technically be called morning. Most of the others are already asleep. Garvin had woken up and left the apartment only an hour and a half prior and hadn’t shown back up yet. Revan gets worried and decides to find him.*
Revan, sighing quietly to himself and starting to stand, closing his laptop; “It’s always a quiet night in my room.”
Revan, glancing towards the others still sleeping; “I’ll tell ‘em twice…”
Revan, to Akira(probably), who had been on the cusp of waking up since Garvin woke/left; “Don’t wake up, I’ll get him back…”
Revan, more to himself, not very confident he actually will; “I’ll… I’ll get him back…”
Revan, moving to leave the room, recognizing he’s probably the least qualified to go after Garvin and basically telling himself to get over that and just do it; “It’s always so black and white… I’m always… Always sitting tight… Oh, so sad..”
Revan, leaving the bedroom, to himself, trying to convince himself he can; “I’ll get him back. I’ll… I’ll get him back.”
*We’re switching back in time now to that hour and a half prior! Garvin had woken up and immediately left the bedroom, taking a lighter and a pack of cigarettes with him, ignoring the pain medicine that they were trying to get him to take for the chronic pain he has. He ended up in the kitchen at first.*
Garvin, lighting a cigarette and walking through the hall towards the kitchen, tired and in fact dealing with the chronic pain; “I can hear the rats in my walls, tails taking their toll… I don’t want my paracetamol…”
Garvin, reaching the kitchen and making his way towards the cabinets to find something to drink; “And I can hear the rats, rats in my walls, telling my partners to go home… I don’t want to go to sleep alone…”
Garvin, to himself, finding and pulling out a few bottles; “You tell the wrong time… You just keep thinking, ‘That’s what you think!’… Well, maybe, you should think twice…”
Garvin, in a sort of whisper yell, and suddenly feeling a lot less comfortable in his skin (which is what house references); “Get out— Of my house!”
Garvin, to himself, in more of a mumble, somewhat sarcastic; “It’s my house…”
Garvin, taking a breath and grabbing the bottles, opening one of them, and leaving the kitchen; “There’s lots of thoughts in my head… So I’ll just keep putting them to bed.”
Garvin, making his way out of the apartment, closing the door softly behind him; “Can I get out of here? Oh, I’ll go anywhere…”
Garvin, walking down the hall of the complex, rubbing at his temple; “I can hear the rats in my walls, tails taking their toll… I don’t want my paracetamol…”
Garvin, reaching the stairs and heading up to the roof because walking was quickly becoming something he didn’t want to be doing; “And I can hear the rats, rats in my walls, telling my partners to go home… I don’t want to go to sleep alone…”
Garvin, repeating himself as he reached the roof, still massaging his temple between drags and sips; “I can hear the rats in my walls, tails taking their toll… I don’t want my paracetamol…”
Garvin, setting the still closed bottles near the ledge and leaning against it himself, mostly for support; “And I can hear the rats, rats in my walls, telling my partners to go home… I don’t want to go to sleep alone…”
*Switch up the time, he’d been awake for around an hour at this point.*
Garvin, still leaning against the ledge, staring up towards the stars; “I don’t want to go to sleep alone…”
Garvin, looking down and hunching over the ledge; “I can hear the rats in my walls… I can hear… Oh, can you hear?”
Garvin, repeating himself quieter, still rubbing at his temples; “I can hear the rats in my walls… I can hear… Oh, can you hear?”
Garvin, pushing himself up and crushing his current cigarette in his hand; “I can hear the rats in my walls…walls…oh…”
*Insert a small little mini breakdown in time with the music! The drop definitely signals him breaking one of the empty bottles and opening another one.*
Garvin, slowly making his way to sitting against the ledge and lighting a new cigarette, half grinning in partially amused frustration at himself; “You tell the wrong time… You just keep thinking, ‘That’s what you think!’… Well, maybe, you should think twice…”
*Seeing as there’s still a minute left of the song, enjoy some information! Revan ends up finding him pretty quickly. Combination of his luck manipulation ability and knowing Garvin well enough to check the roof early on in his search. The two get to have a good, probably long needed conversation. It doesn’t turn into an argument either, yay.*
